Conflicts in Priorities

Conflicts in Priorities These basic priorities inherently conflict. For example, BSD systems have basic incompatibilities with the AT&T System 5 UNIX systems, because each project has firm interests and no compelling need to cooperate. As such, perfect compatibility is impossible to achieve given our project focus. The opposite tact, no compatibility constraints, is also not completely acceptable, because we are dealing with the PC class of computers and not minicomputers or workstations.
